How much does an epoxy floor cost?
Every floor is different, so the cost depends on the size of the area, the condition of the slab and the finish you choose. A specialist install costs a little more upfront than a quick DIY kit, but it lasts far longer, which usually makes it cheaper over its lifetime. We give free, no-obligation quotes, we price-match, and interest-free payment plans are available.
How long does the job take?
Most residential floors take two to four days including full preparation, depending on the size and the number of coats. Hobart's cooler conditions can add a little to curing time compared with the mainland, and we plan around that rather than rush.
When can I walk on it and park on it?
You will usually be back to light foot traffic within a day or so of the final coat, with vehicle traffic once the floor has fully cured. We give you exact timings for your specific job so nothing gets rushed.
How long will an epoxy floor last?
With proper preparation and quality products, an epoxy floor lasts many years of hard use. Preparation is the single biggest factor in how long it lasts, which is why we never cut corners on diamond grinding and priming.
Do you do driveways?
Yes. We resurface driveways with a Dulux Avista system that lifts tired concrete and boosts kerb appeal. You can see more on our driveways section on the home page.
Can you put a logo or crest in the floor?
Absolutely. Custom logo and crest floors are one of our specialties, like our signature Hutchins lion floor.
Which areas do you cover?
We are Hobart based and travel statewide across Tasmania. Samples and viewing are available on request.
Can I just buy the products from you?
We can arrange and supply premium epoxy products for your project. We do not position our floors as a DIY option, but product supply is available.
